Wigclav – 250 Antibiotic Tablets

Wigclav? 250 are antibiotic tablets to be used in the treatment of certain infections caused by bacteria, including infections of the ears, lungs, sinus, skin, and urinary tract in dogs and cats. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.Skin and soft tissue infections such as wounds, abscesses, cellulitis, superficial/juvenile and deep pyoderma due to susceptible strains of the following organisms: ?-lactamase producing Staphylococcus aureus, non- ?-lactamase producing Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., E. coli. Periodontal infections due to susceptible strength of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. Wigclav? has been shown to be clinically effective for treating cases of canine periodontal disease.CATS
Skin and soft tissue infections such as wounds, abscesses, cellulitis/dermatitis due to susceptible strains of the following organism: ?-lactamase producing Staphylococcus aureus, non- ?-lactamase producing Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., E. coli, and Pasteurella spp. Urinary tract infections (cystitis) due to susceptible strains of E. coli.
Therapy may be initiated with Wigclav? prior to obtaining results from bacteriological and susceptibility studies.
A culture should be obtained prior to treatment to determine susceptibility of the organisms to Wigclav? . Following determination of susceptibility results and clinical responses to medication, therapy must be re-evaluated.
